“Happiness” Animated Short by Steve Cutts | Brilliant Mirror of Consumerism

Steve Cutts short animation Happiness

“The story of a rodent’s unrelenting quest for happiness and fulfillment.”
Directed and animated by Steve Cutts.

It’s a brilliant demonstration of how people in our culture become convinced through advertising that is propaganda to keep the machine oiled, that happiness lies outside of them, through something you purchase…and that you have to pay your dues and relentlessly work hard to reach the crème de la crème.

Steve Cutts has come up with another soul transforming animation that causes us to see our own lives and lifestyles as a treadmill of consumerism and the lie that we live. Ever on a quest to buy something external, thinking that this will bring happiness, while we kill the essence of what we all work for, and go on vacation for, the paradise in which we live of beauty and wonder of our natural world and all of the creatures which we share it with.

Cutts creations are brilliant. It is art and psychology at the grandest scale; a mirror into humanity, especially what the Western ideals have invested in and exported unfortunately to the rest of the world. For example, I’ve heard that the various cultures around the world that have allowed Fast Food to visit their lands, are now also suffering from the same sickness of excess as many people in the west, with diabetes and obesity. Guess what, most illness can be proactively prevented with eating nutritional food, staying away from junk food and regularly doing aerobic exercise. No need for Pharma, no need for gyms…Much of our happiness, down right laughter and love, can be gained through simply doing things that we love and observing and being in nature.

I was enthralled and absolutely stunned by this artist – Steve Cutts’ – animation several years ago entitled “Man” which I wrote about in this blog a few years ago. It spoke loudly to my heart. https://digesthis.wordpress.com/2014/12/09/man-animation-by-steve-cutts-revolution/. It displays man’s blithe indifference to other life forms and violence against them – throughout human history – in the name of self adornment and consumption, without regard to other creature’s inherent right to life and a pleasant existence.

Hurray for artists who reveal us to ourselves!

Relocate rather than Vacate | Trump is the Mere Nefarious figurehead of a Vile Oil Oligarchic System

Pardon the haste and perhaps haphazardness with which I’m posting this blog. I still have packing to do. I am flying tomorrow, Sunday the 9th of July from nYc to Paris. My intention is not to vacate, but to relocate. Not to vacation in Paris, but to plant myself in an inexpensive post in Europe, in order to write articles about a number of different topics that will take me to different countries. I also wish to debut performing my music live as i continue to produce more. I have been considering ways for the past two years to plant myself back in Europe. Yes, It takes mega fossil fuels to get myself there, but I literally bicycled hundreds of miles throughout this past winter to transport myself to dozens of schools throughout the Santa Fe, New Mexico county school district, to teach students K through 12th grade in all different subjects. I was one of the only people bicycling. I saw a couple schools where several teachers bicycled. These were an exception.

I just watched a video of Indigenous people from the Pacific Islands visiting Indigenous people in Canada, to see for themselves the destruction of their territory and to express solidarity. I was in tears. I am sharing this here, because the words of one of the elderly native women in her prayers, echoes what I’ve heard from different people in different places; The change that needs to happen, is not on an intellectual level, but from the perspective of heart, feeling, values. Incentive to make changes will happen when people really care about, feel harmony with and identity with all of life, all entities that sustain life, as one incredible intelligent interconnected system that reveals and produces life

Impact of Tar Sands is felt worldwide, 350.org

Impact of Tar Sands is felt worldwide presented by 350.org

I am in tears as I watch this. I had gone to the COP21 in Paris. My real learning experience was through engaging during the two week duration of the climate talks with the http://www.placetob.org. I met people who came from the other side of the world to talk about how their communities have already been affected for the last decade by GLOBAL WARMING (the politically incorrect term which puts in your face the face the fact that the CLIMATE IS CHANGING DUE TO HUMAN ACTION AND INACTION)

This woman elder conducting a prayer said. “The indigenous people have a sacred connection to the water and land. They understand that when you take from the land, you must return.

We all have to feel this way in our hearts, to love our water and land and air, and all of the creatures who are part of this earth.

We can’t just sit idle any more and let the billionaires do what they want.

We need to fight for clean air and water and land.

I’m going to warrior up, to do anything i can to protect this water and land.

Kinder Morgen (Kinder Morgan according to wiki is the largest energy infrastructure company in North America), are killing the fish, killing the deer, killing the bear.

If Trudeau (and Trump) won’t take action, people will.”

So, my point, Trump is an easy target to feel disgust and revulsion by his desire to strip away healthcare, rights, protections for national parks….but he is merely a puppet, a figurehead, behind a system that has been bulldozing the environment and peoples’ rights and profiting through racism and targeting blacks, for the last 20 years.

My idea, after having spent last winter completely immersed in work that took all of my time, but through which I learned very much and thoroughly enjoyed in particular teaching skiing on the weekends and several long holidays, because I love physical activity, love the alpine environment, love to ski and love to communicate and teach people who really want to learn.

It was because of a memorial ceremony held for my mother this last Saturday which brought a bunch of extended family together to celebrate her life, that bounced me back to the East coast from Taos, New Mexico, where I was residing the last two months. Because my job seasons’ both ended in Santa Fe, I moved to Taos at the suggestion of a friend, where I lived in a yurt, off the grid, no plumbing or electricity, and then was given the opportunity to use a room in my friend’s home to use for electricity and internet “IF and only if, I used this space to complete my book”. I diligently did this, dove into it, which not only has brought this project to near completion, and fueled my desire and conviction to dive into other writing projects. I’ve been blogging for years, making no income. Now, I will dive into writing articles (have already several lined up), and will through the stages of learning and making mistakes, begin operating in the world of journalism.

India planted 66 Million trees in 12 hours

India planted 66 Million trees in 12 hours

ANYTHING can be accomplished, when power hungry control & greed don’t get in the way of people working together.

To me, nothing is more important than impressing upon people hope about the future, ways that we can joyfully participate in making our earth a more nourishing place and to spread a sentiment of love and caring for all of the inhabitants of the earth, and the soil, the water and air as living beings, that are an inextricable part of all of us.

We have so much more life to live, experiences to feel and share, if we stretch and extend ourselves to sense deeply how fantastic our world is, and how to really value the most minute experience of “I and thou”. I’m talking, your perception, and a rain drop in a puddle that sends out waves. I’m saying, your perception, of wind moving through trees. I’m saying, your perception, of your breath and how incredibly intelligent and splendid your body is.

Get back into your body. Get back into letting thoughts go and actually listening and tuning into a creature that can fit on your hand. Get back into walking, bicycling and moving your body, and feeling how wonderful it is to be in good shape and connected. Get back into extending a smile to a stranger, and feeling how this ripples. Our earth is magical. The creatures with whom we coexist are splendid. I am sorry to say, that it is not the people, but leaders, particularly in the “United States of Anxiety” who wish to keep things the way they are, who wish to bend over to money. Sadly, even Justin Trudeau of Canada is demonstrating this. The reason I wished to write this in the first place was because of something I relayed to my friend with whom I’ve been staying for the last week out of her graciousness. I was saying that it is easy to be disgusted, embarrassed and absolutely revolted by the personality of our President Trump, because of his mannerisms, statements, actions the greed, narcissism…Yet I learned 3 months ago when I was hitchhiking back from skiing a day in Taos to Santa Fe, from the driver. I had turned down the 1st 3 rides. This man was articulate, well educated and kind. He said he was a climatologist who worked for 10 years for the State of California. To my astonishment, he mentioned that in the early 90’s, like 1991, he was told/dissuaded/warned by the State (the alleged progressive state of California) NOT to use the word ‘climate change’ and probably at that time ‘global warming’ was the term, in ANY of his reports. When in fact, his research pointed directly to climate change as a result of actions of the petroleum industries. And now the people need to stand up and face the reality, and organize behind those groups who can facilitate change.

United States of Anxiety | the Commercial Messiah

Yet another mass shooting in the United States of Anxiety. Why did he do it? Where does the anger come from? or feelings of powerlessness?…Well, after watching the newscast which switched to a commercial break (which I usually mute and ignore), I looked at the commercials as a stranger in a strange land. Advertisements about happy, carefree, beautiful people who are laughing and having fun together … about to purchase more things to embellish their perfectly happy lives. Thou Shalt Buy I thought to myself; these messages are enough to drive a person who is already borderline weak and emotionally unstable, to feel even less worthy and more resistant & envious; magnifying what they lack, and increasing their loneliness and neediness…

I’m looking at this (shooting trend) not from a behavioral standpoint of an individual who’s been diminished and criticized with words by their parents -emotional abuse, physical abuse, or neglected completely – or as someone who perhaps all his/her life was deprived of comforts and security. I’m not looking at it from a psychological or chemical imbalance standpoint or the lack of nurturing families.

I’m just looking at it from the container of the cultural message packaged and sent out – of which TV is the most powerful medium – the lure of the commercials within the belly of this heavily lopsided consumerism bent world. The message; to buy more, purchase this or that and you’ll be happy. The message is laden with competition, to strive to be as cool as your peers.
Buy More
Television and film/video is such a powerful medium: images fused with music to hit the emotional chords. The messages could be: the world is a wonderful place and we are in this together… kind and loving people here to help you and guide you… this world is awesome with all of its creatures and look at how happy and joyful you can be through the simplest activities. Well, yes, these messages are out there, and yes, one can turn off the television and electronic devices. Yet instead, the predominant messages coming from the TV is, if you don’t have this, or own that, you are ‘left out’ and socially bankrupt. If you don’t get in with the action and buy this or have this, you won’t get the attention you want and you won’t be able to pretend to fabricate this gleaming and glittering reality. If you are unattractive or weak or not in the ‘in crowd’, these commercial messages will be even more venomously received with anger and hatred.

That was my response looking at the commercials after listening to Obama’s words to the nation after yet another massacre. For the most part, the perpetrators of mass school killings are not doing it out of racism or inequality – they are typically caucasian males who randomly shoot without much care of the target. The killings seem to be rage from people who feel outcast within their own groups/schools/communities who see reality and their prospects as bleak.

Add the easy accessibility of guns to the equation and it gives the people with the anger, emotional rage, chemical imbalance or a history of being victims of torment and abuse the ability to easily carry out their impulsive or well-thought-out plans of (suicide / homicide ) with ease.

Buy what thou hast no need of

Buy what thou hast no need of

So I’m saying that this stems from the dis ease of the messages of rampant consumerism infiltrating our culture. It’s the slickness of the mirage that advertisers create for the companies who wish to sell their merchandise, at any cost. Okay, i’ve said enough, or not enough. Buy NowWestern culture is so bent on profit and short-term, short-sighted goals – at the risk of genuine human happiness and the welfare of all the different creatures that share our planet – that both the haves and the have-nots, have anxiety; the former, because of the threat of it being taken away, the latter, because of the material things dangling before them, which they can’t have.

Just a theory about a culture that keeps getting further and further away from the real, simple joys in life, enjoyment through sharing company with oneself, with others and with the natural world around them.

Happiness & Healing Oneself | Your Choice of Mind & Heart

It’s another one of those times when I’ve come across a subject that I feel is of such import that I post it on both blogs simultaneously.

In the last days I read and viewed this information, which is one small extract of many peoples experiences of either making themselves ill or healing themselves, through their own attitude and what they anticipate. If you think that someone is going to react in a certain way or something is going to happen in the way that you expect, good or bad, typically, because this is the window you’re looking through and the way that you approach the situation, it more than likely will.

http://truththeory.com/2014/04/27/is-there-scientific-proof-we-can-heal-ourselves/

Here is the youtube video of Lissa Rankin, MD’s TED talk – a presentation of the results of her research. YES, she researched and found her proof. Rankin addressed in her TED talk a group of health care professionals talking about how much their caring intention influences the health and healing of their patients.

There may be all sorts of incidences that occur throughout the day which may trigger a stress response. Regardless of the source of the stress, our body releases stress hormones such as cortisol and epinephrine. The body responds to stress by producing hormones that are ingrained into the ‘fight or flight’ response which is genetically built-in, from the times when humans actually did have to be prepared to promptly face or flee a threat such as a wild animal or severe weather condition. Yet, it is us who decide how to respond emotionally to interpret a situation as something inducing stress; a perception of monetary, marital, social problems, work conflicts, situational discomforts or environmental hazards etc. Our body doesn’t distinguish between the source of our stress, it simply responds to our emotional response by chemically producing hormones to interpret our emotional reaction.

You basically do have a choice in how you respond to circumstances.

The point is to actively pursue experiences that lead to feeling happier and to alleviate the stress. Making a conscious choice to allow oneself to relax, enjoy one’s environment, to enjoy simple things, engage in activities like meditation and other practices that facilitate a deeper conscious breathing, physical exercise, participating in experiences that engage with nature, eating healthy foods, spending time in the company of positive people and interacting with all sorts of animals; therapy dogs specifically elicit happy hormones because of their unconditionally loving nature. Make a point of acknowledging with gratitude what you appreciate, attune to all of the different wonderful life forms (animals and plants in our world) that are here around you, and recognize that by participating in creative activities and doing tasks that involve achieving little goals, all lead to developing more insights and a sense of accomplishment. All of these different activities that are coming through the heart, instead of through the head, will lead to the release of hormones such as dopamine, oxytocin and serotonin, which the body produces in association with feelings of happiness and contentment and a sense of well-being. Laugh! Go out and play!

Yes, it’s a choice.

Addendum to Journey in Space & Time Ignited by Matters of Heart | Epigenetics | HeartMath

John Lennon, fear, love

John Lennon: Fear and Love
“There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love.

A few weeks ago, my attention was directed to an article talking about epigenetics. Scientific research reveals that in addition to genetic memory – recorded in the DNA and passed from one generation to the next – experiences of an emotional nature which take place within an individual’s life, can also become imprinted and routed to affect later generations. Not just the next generation, but subsequent offspring exhibit the same response to stimuli, not learned from parents. It appears that a person’s perceived positive or negative experiences affect subsequent generations; the offspring genetically inherit the fallout of that ancestor’s experience.

Though epigenetic information does not alter the genetic (DNA) code itself, it does modify the activation of certain genes. This occurs through chemical processes – such as methyl groups which attach to genes and reside beside and separate from the DNA code – hence the name epigenetic (Greek prefix pi meaning over, outer or above). “The methyl group works like a placeholder in a cookbook, attaching to the DNA within each cell to select only those recipes — i.e. genes — necessary for that particular cell’s proteins.”

Reading this instigated me to look back at a blog I’d written in January of 2010, regarding a hitchabout trip I took while living in Germany. https://digesthis.wordpress.com/2010/01/11/hitch-a-bout-ventures-a-journey-in-space-and-time/ During this journey, the themes of neurology and Native American spirituality recurred repeatedly. It compelled me to write about the experience and theorize about how synchronistic incidences can happen, at all. What is it about our brains in time and space, that could allow for events to take place simultaneously, at large distances? Our current definitions make it impossible.

I recalled the words within a video on this blog “The White Road – Visions of the Indigenous People of the Americas“. “The indigenous people are certain that not only is all past information of the universe stored in our bodies, but that we are constantly provided with new information from the Cosmos.”

I read further along the arduous path of my blog :-o) in which I described that our awareness consists of a simultaneous system of electrical connections, traveling back and forth from nerve endings to synapses firing in different regions of the brain. And that an ‘experience’ or ‘memory’ can not be localized in one specific region of the brain. Neuroplasticity theorizes that the brain is continually making new connections and building new neural networks. Various functions are not located in specific regions of the brain. In the process of formulating new thoughts or tasks, the brain creates convoluted neural networks spanning different lobes, encoded across different regions, depending on the different associations that are being built in the process.

This article by Larry Dossey, MD “Why Consciousness is Not the Brain” states “…if consciousness is indeed identical with the brain – the curtain closes on premonitions. The reason is that the brain is a local phenomenon – i.e., it is localized to the brain and body, and to the present. This prohibits premonitions in principle, because accordingly the brain cannot operate outside the body and the here-and-now. But consciousness can operate beyond the brain, body, and the present, as hundreds of experiments and millions of testimonials affirm. Consciousness cannot, therefore, be identical with the brain.”

I made the analogy that just as thinking is a continuous feedback process within the whole (throughout the body and mind, together with all of the ideas that have intercepted our awareness) that perhaps consciousness itself, is not something localized in one area (the brain), but an integral part of a larger neural connected energetic fabric of all life.

Okay, I said it. But check this out. I interpreted what I read about epigenetics to imply, if I may be so bold, that it is more the emotional nature of an experience that specifically influences a chemical concoction to affect the way the genetic code plays out. Nurture affecting Nature.

Human Heart

Human Heart

In light of this, an additional article rolled into my awareness, “The Effects of Negative Emotions on Our HealthVoila! The author articulates that “Humans experience an array of emotions, anything from happiness to sadness, to extreme joy or depression. Each of these emotional states create different feelings within the body, with our body releasing different chemicals in conjunction with these feelings. Each chemical produces a different environment within the body. The brain releases serotonin, dopamine or oxytocin in association with experiences that elicit happiness and joy and cortisol, for example, in association with stress. The author’s point is that with respect to the mind-body connection, the brain is a very powerful tool indeed, that basically interprets and judges situations to be positive or negative and that your mind can have a profound physical impact on your body. Careful what you think !-) But more than that, careful about how you emotionally respond to any given situation!

Essentially, the plethora of psychologists, therapists, yoga teachers and spiritual guides all have this insight in common: focus on appreciation and gratitude and contentment in the present moment, rather than focusing on what you fear

Mahatma Gandhi, man is product of his thoughts

A man is but the product of his thoughts, what he thinks, he becomes. Mahatma Gandhi

…Our emotions and experiences are essentially energy that is communicated through chemical and electrical processes, which is stored in the cellular memory of our bodies.

This ‘re minded’ me of the beliefs … “The indigenous people are certain that not only is all past information of the universe stored in our bodies, but that we are constantly provided with new information from the Cosmos.”

Eureka dude! As I was preparing to fuse together this information in an amendment to my earlier blog, https://digesthis.wordpress.com/2010/01/11/hitch-a-bout-ventures-a-journey-in-space-and-time/ these additional puzzle pieces synchronistically kept tumbling in, to fuse and ignite this new insight.

Institute of HeartMath connecting hearts and minds

Institute of HeartMath connecting hearts and minds

Doc Childre is the founder of The institute of HeartMath. It’s a measured fact that the strength of the magnetic field projected by the heart is much stronger than that of the brain. This field can expand or contract, correspondingly with love or fear. The heart has a large number of neurons. It’s an intelligent muscle.

Human Heart's Magnetic Field expands and contracts

Human Heart’s Magnetic Field expands and contracts

Their emphasis is on learning how to activate and sustain a coherence between the heart and brain. This synergy or coherence can be achieved through entraining the breath and attention to the heart, allowing a person to hone in to the heart’s intuitive intelligence. This can expand to entrain one’s heart to others, to achieve a social coherence. “A collective opening of the heart increases the social and subsequently global coherence.” The group has initiated a global coherence monitoring system in which they’re performing a study with 17 magnetic sensors distributed throughout the planet. These large devices are measuring resonances.

Childre mentions that a feedback loop exists within an individual’s mind – body and between humans and all species and the earth’s energetic systems.

The theory is that not only does earth’s magnetic field affects humans, but humans as a collective, affect the earth’s field.

Doc Childre, HeartMath

Doc Childre HeartMath

In this article “7 Amazing facts about the heart’s control of the brain” Dr. Joel K. Kahn describes how the heart communicates to the brain and the body in four ways: 1) nervous system connections, 2) hormones produced in the heart itself, 3) biomechanical information via blood pressure waves, and 4) energetic information from the strong electrical and electromagnetic fields.

Assembling the points I’ve gathered, I conjecture: as below, so above. DNA strands within each cell contain all of the genetic information of the entire body (with some genes activated and others not depending on that particular cell). This reveals a sort of holographic principle, similar to what some physicists theorize about how the universe is structured as well as neurologists regarding how the brain maps information.

The holonomic brain theory, developed by neuroscientist Karl Pribram initially in collaboration with physicist David Bohm, is a model of human cognition that describes the brain as a holographic storage network.

A holographic paradigm in which all information is present in each part (everywhere – at all times) would explain intuition, precognition, psychic awareness, simultaneous scientific discoveries and so forth.

Jeremy Narby is a French Canadian Anthropologist who lived among Indigenous peoples of the Amazon. He wrote a non-fiction book about his research: The Cosmic Serpent: DNA and the Origins of Knowledge He discovered ancient symbols depicting the mythology of the Indigenous people he lived among replicating the fundamental structure of life itself, the spiraling deoxyribonucleic acid DNA; something scientists of the developed world have only begun to discern in the last half century. His later book, Intelligence in Nature: An Inquiry into Knowledge demonstrates his conclusions. Intelligence is not a hierarchical model in which humans are on the top. This link above reviewing Narby’s book: “Narby’s passion is to rethink the meaning of intelligence as a human property and give up the reductionist/materialist view of Western science. In its place, he adopts the Japanese word “chi-sei”, roughly defined as a knowingness that allows for decision-making at all levels of life.”

He points out in a speech given at a Bioneers conference in 2005 that Homo Sapiens have been around only 200,000 years – 10,000 biological generations – which for a species is next to nothing. The Jaguar and Octopus species have been around way longer than humans; the Octopus for 350,000 Million years!

Numerous studies demonstrate intelligence and abstract thinking throughout not only the animal kingdom, but also among insects and yes, even plants. Molecular genetics of the 1990’s reveal that plants have receptors. Plants can assimilate information and respond on the whole plant level, using electrical signals that involve sensing a wide range of variables and computing complex decisions.

In his book The Cosmic Serpent, Narby takes a serious look at how neurogenetic consciousness informs awareness, knowledge, symbolism and culture. His anthropological study, ayahuasca experience and scientific speculations weave a tale of shamans who bring their consciousness down to molecular levels with sophisticated neurotransmitter potions in order to perceive information contained in the coherent visible light emitted by DNA.

He notes an ayahuasquero Pablo Amaringo saying: “A plant may not talk, but there is a spirit in it that is conscious, that sees everything, which is the soul of the plant, its essence, what makes it alive.”

In their visions, shamans take their consciousness down to the molecular level and gain access to information related to DNA, which they call “animate essences” or “spirits.”

Intelligent design within.

DNA molecule, Narby, Cosmic Serpent

diagram of the DNA molecule in Narby’s the Cosmic Serpent

Each DNA molecule has been packaged into a Mitotic Chromosome that is 50,000 X shorter than its extended length.

Science is now affirming a view long held by Shamans of the indigenous people: that the entire edifice of life from top to bottom is ‘shot through with intelligence’. In fact the evolutionary process itself may be intelligent.

Evolution may be guided by an intelligence within, as opposed to blind chance or an intelligence from above.

Back full circle to the fact that many living systems are structured in the Fibonacci Sequence as I wrote about in an alternative blog https://carolkeiter.wordpress.com/2011/04/14/holograms-of-meaning-consciousness-frequency-shift/, my theory is that this is the form which allows for the holographic pattern of information to be distributed.

mathematical, Fibonacci Sequence

Mathematical diagram of Fibonacci Sequence class of Toni

Perhaps indeed, the pinnacle of intelligence is within the smallest constituents; the motion of energy that manifests as matter.

The HeartMath understanding is that entraining the heart with the brain and with other individuals is a synergistic process, in which the individual parts work together to produce an effect larger than the sum of the parts. Perhaps the import of emotions and the intuitive intelligence of the heart is something that essentially is an energetic phenomenon at the electromagnet level; with this electromagnetic information tuned to a feeling vibration of the heart that permeates the universe through a network of Fibonacci spacetime, in a holographic way; passing through spacetime instantly.

graphic of a wormhole

graphic of a wormhole describing a spacial fabric of space

Narby states that “Our predation (human beings as the top predator) is ‘souped up’ through knowledge, ideas and technology. Yet, we need to understand that we are animals among other intelligent species. We truly need to get a grip on our sciences and industries. Intelligent predators do not degrade the world in which they live, but live in harmony with it.

¡This would represent intelligent evolution!

HeartMath and the Global Coherence Initiative state that ultimately, ‘heart-based living’, involves taking responsibility for your own energy; the thoughts, feelings and attitudes that you are feeding into the field every day.

…energy flows where attention goes…

• Larry Dossey MD: Consciousness can operate beyond the brain, body and the present, therefore consciousness cannot be localized to the brain.
• Neuroscientist Karl Pribram and Physicist David Bohm: Holonomic brain theory is a model of human cognition describing the brain as a holographic storage network.
• Physicists have mathematically described the universe as a hologram, in which every part of stored information is distributed throughout the entire hologram.
• Each cell within the body, regardless of its form or function, contains a complete set of DNA: the same DNA code (blueprint of life) as is found in every other cell in a person’s body.
• Jeremy Narby: There is conclusive evidence among heralded scientists worldwide, implying the same conclusions that have been a part of the indigenous folklore for millennia; that intelligence permeates all species and basically ALL of the natural world.

Russell Brand | the Awakened Man | Taste of the Infinite

In this link and below, is a video collage of interviews with Russell Brand on “The Awakened Man” or ‘Divine Within’.

Cosmos, Quantum

Amplifying the Cosmos and Quantum World

Our consciousness can’t be confined and defined by our limited awareness through our senses. The exigency of human beings today is to pierce beyond the senses into the vastness of divine consciousness and creativity; through yoga, meditation and stepping beyond the cult of individualism. We need to get away from dead monotheistic religions and extend into a paganistic spiritual awareness, seeing all life as divine. We are all inextricably connected to each other and to our environment, which we must serve and protect and celebrate in a collective embrace. The ‘self’ is an ephemeral illusion.

Einstein, Optical Delusion

Einstein Seeing Ourselves as Separate is an Optical Delusion of Consciousness

We need to extricate ourselves from this lower vibration inculcated by the corporate elite, woven into our materialistic focus; preying upon and augmenting the negative human traits that divide people so that we remain fearful, defensive and competitive. We can spring from this narrative by creating our own, working together to redefine our priorities and how we wish to evolve as human beings.

Divine Within, Divine Intelligence

Divine Intelligence seeks expression of free-will with Consciousness, Conscientiousness and Respect for Self and All within a context of Understanding, Empathy and Compassion

Divine Intelligence seeks expression of free-will through consciousness, conscientiousness and respect for the self and all; within the context of understanding, empathy and compassion.

As each individual reaches inside to follow one’s own divine path, one feels the connection to everything. It becomes clear that we are all One. Kindness to others and an appreciation and respect for all living creatures as they make their way on their own momentary path through life, is what generates happiness. It makes us feel good. Acknowledging the presence of God as an intelligence within the quanta of matter and infinitesimal fabric of energy in between, is accessible to each of us. Love, is our divine right. ~ Russell Brand’s words, in a nutshell.

Eureka ! P i e r r e T e i l h a r d de C h a r d i n | spiritual beings having a human experience |

Having spoken to an acquaintance about the direction of my eBook, I was just re-acquainted with Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, a French philosopher and Jesuit priest who trained as a paleontologist and geologist and took part in the discovery of Peking Man and Piltdown Man. His primary book, “The Phenomenon of Man” is a sweeping account of the unfolding of the cosmos. The book displeased Church superiors and some of his work was denied publication during his lifetime.

Here are some of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin’s quotes, which I find remarkable:

We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.

Someday, after mastering the winds, the waves, the tides and gravity, we shall harness for God the energies of love, and then, for a second time in the history of the world, man will have discovered fire.

The universe as we know it is a joint product of the observer and the observed.

It is our duty as men and women to proceed as though the limits of our abilities do not exist.

Driven by the forces of love, the fragments of the world seek each other so that the world may come into being.

Love is the affinity which links and draws together the elements of the world…Love, in fact, is the agent of universal synthesis.

In the final analysis, the questions of why bad things happen to good people transmutes itself into some very different questions, no longer asking why something happened, but asking how we will respond, what we intend to do now that it happened.
