Today itsa new moon in Sagittarius. I trimmed my hair, as planned by the lunar calendar.
I happened to have open on my desktop a wikipedia description about Chandra. I had looked up Indian names, of the East, and picked this one ‘randomly’. Then I had then googled the name and subsequently had this file open on my desktop.
It was today, December 3rd, 2013, ironically on the New Moon, that I decided to read it. Chandra is a Hindu moon deity; Chandra is the father of Buddha. A young, beautiful and fair, two-armed deity with his four arms stretched out, in one of his hands a club, in another, a lotus flower.
In Vedic astrology, Chandra represents the brain and mind, emotions, sensitivity, softness, imagination, queen and mother.
He, yes he, rides in a chariot across the night sky every night, pulled by ten white horses. He is also called Rajanipati (lord of the night) and Kshuparaka (one who illuminates the night).
