Manifesto for a Green New Deal | FDR’s MAGA response to Wall Street Collapsing the Economy into the Great Depression

Manifesto of the multiple projects that could manifest the Green New Deal. What would you choose to be involved in?

The Green New Deal is a takeoff on FDR’s ‘New Deal’ which involved the (NRA) ‘National Recovery Act’.

Within a year of the 1929 stock market crash, 50% of the population was unemployed.  The (WPA) Works Progress Administration concept was to employ mandatory structural works, with everyone involved in rebuilding; to put the entire country ‘to work’ – from local to regional – improving their own territories and their quality of life. Among these, the (TVA) Tennessee Valley Authority (which stretched beyond the borders of Tennessee) involved the entire community in constructing a hydroelectric dam, who previously had no electricity whatsoever. In the process, the stones they excavated were used to build homes.

There is one policy proposal that could bring together experts and average citizens alike to work on whatever we decide to do: resurrect the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC).

The (CCC) Civilian Conservation Corps also involved restoring, beautifying, repurposing places around the country. The concentration was on re-building the infrastructure of the US, ‘Making it Great Again’, after Wall Street devastated the country with the economic crash that lead the trajectory to the Great Depression.

Does this not give huge perks to the idea of instead, putting the local resources and commodities into the hands and protection of the people?

Establishing local ‘Commons’, in which all the members of the community share ownership and responsibility – as proprietors of their own wealth of resources – to protect: land, water, forests, rivers and air. So that rather than private industries having a right of passage to purchase, privatize and reap rewards and profits for themselves, the community who maintain their resources, have profits recycled back into the community for further enrichment. I remember walking in East Providence, Rhode Island, and looking down at the sidewalk and seeing that this was achieved through the WPA..

Different communities could have their own commons, in addition to creating virtual collective ‘round table’ commons in which information and ideas are exchanged transparently, benefiting all. Meetings of minds to exchange ideas for super efficient and inexpensive ways to manage resources, build sustainable transportation infrastructure and produce energy locally.

My current 77 year old housemate just told me that with the CCC, artists, musicians, writers, performers, actors were all put to work: painting, playing music, entertaining, doing theatre. To make their environment more beautiful and rich with activities. What could possibly be distasteful about being matched to a project that suits one’s interests and capabilities?

I was talking with my sister about how treacherous it is to lose the majestic forests of tall and elegant Pine trees here in Georgia. With awareness of the risk of losing a treasure, we could all be put to work in coming up with ideas that are environmentally ethical and sustainable alternatives. Regardless of the standard for centuries, we know that our planet has finite space and resources. Presently, with an abundance of waste products, there are innumerable ways to employ trash that can be recycled and repurposed. Work that involves brainstorming and design, research and development; encouraging the entrepreneurial spirit in all of us, each involved in their own way.

Repurpose waste materials, combined with products that are abundant. Design and construct things repurposing plastic, glass bottles, cans, rubber from tires, etc. I recently walked on the cushioned surface of pedestrian paths created by Georgia Southern university made from tire rubber, meshed together with other materials. It looks like wood chips, but tightly woven, smooth and resilient.  World Wildlife Fund campaign: Love the Natural World, or Lose it.

Energy, transportation could be redesigned. Instead of paying a private utility company, involve the community in the design, research and development and maintenance of their own energy. If the mentality was changed to complete transparency with an intent on conservation, preservation, health and beauty, involvement in decision making about areas where one has more of a relationship, they would want to take more responsibility and have pride in what their individual contributions to the community manifested in their own region, county or municipality.

Anyway, can you imagine, being able to almost effortlessly, drift towards work that you’d love to participate in, which is completely connected to an area you’d like to invest your time and talent, education and energy into?  OK, say the Green New Deal work is mandatory, obligatory and enforced, yet people are given multiple options to match themselves in projects they have interested in, because they enjoy it and are subsequently good at it. Did you hear that correctly? People expressing themselves while participating in assignments in which they have interest. Climate Mandate: A Time to Heal

For some, it may be municipal works in which they are rejuvenating the streets of their town, greening walkways, creating parks and gardens to create pedestrian areas, greening buildings (growing vertical gardens on buildings sides and greening and/or solar rooftops), cleaning up and beautifying a places, restoring, planting trees, establishing neighborhood community vegetable gardens, developing public transportation and local energy systems.

Others may want to apply their participation in the Green New Deal Works by venturing on trains and sailboats to far reaches of the planet, to clean up, collect and separate the massive, ubiquitous plastic trash. One could work together with others with the same intention. Perhaps cleaning up rivers in India, beaches in Southeast Asia, helping countries to restore equilibrium and to balance their environmental impact. Or traveling to remote islands to monitor marine life, land animals and birds, to join E.O. Wilson’s ‘Half-Earth Project’, joining millions to protect half of the earth and sea, for wildlife. Contributing information about local flora and fauna, observing, documenting, identifying sources of pollutants, assessing the more biodiverse regions, in order to protected them.

Or joining a crew in the middle of an ocean (via train and sailboat) to clear the islands of plastic that have accumulated in every ocean. Debris swept with the currents of gyres to deposit plastic mounds, which like ice burgs, have much which has accumulated beneath the surface. People could collect and sift the microplastics throughout oceans and beaches. Some could make jewelry, others collect the microplastics to be mixed with others materials like mud, or the fibers of hemp or bamboo (both fast growing), to replace concrete, for walls, roads, sidewalks. paths. The volumes of rubber from dead tires can be mixed with fibers as building materials

What if part of the Green New Deal for people of any age, scientists, entrepreneurs and thinkers, to participate in working out Nikola Tesla’s original understanding of Zero-Point energy. John Searl points out that an enormous amount of energy is perpetually present all around us, because all matter (which is energy), is in constant motion. Our earth, solar system, galaxy, are all in continuous spiraling motion. At the quantum level, all is continuously moving. Searl talks of capturing this energy that is everywhere around us, through a pretty simple device – using magnets – that perpetuate a continuous flow of energy, with no friction. Clean and quiet.

Others may want to participate in brainstorming ways to develop energy and other processes that are sustainable; that do not involve harming habitats or diminishing natural resources. Taking down telephone poles and electric wires. and instead of silicon or mining rare minerals used in the production of our telecommunications technology, adapting the implementation of graphene: 1-atom thick wafers of carbon. Graphene is extremely conductive, and sourced from carbon, the most abundant material around.

Kenyan Woman’s Startup Recycles Plastic Waste into Bricks That Are 5x Stronger Than Concrete -Andy Corley

Or one may prefer helping locally in a community garden, planting trees along every street, or doing physical work like creating bamboo or hemp woven with plastic sidewalks, that have the durability of concrete but more flexibility to allow tree roots to breath and grow naturally, without cracking, planting bee highways. Because everything in nature is connected and interdependent. It’s all about biodiversity. Here’s an explanation of ecoliteracy from Nature’s Web of LIfe.

Each can contribute something, with a pencil, paint brush, tool or shovel..Cleaning up, clearing out, repurposing and transforming areas. Planting trees to transform barren, dusty areas or humid regions prone to landslides, to restore them.

Jobs would re-create a massive eco alternative, to the current industrial and digital. Because we need less new construction and more imagining of green alternatives and acknowledgment of the habitats of other creatures, we can learn new methods of living harmoniously with the other species inhabiting the planet

Every city could delineate and map out car-free, pedestrian-friendly areas. In addition to developing clean and efficient public transportation options.

With an increasing population of elderly throughout the world, immigrants (everywhere) – children and adults – could be given education and placement as companions and helpers to the elderly > in the USA, Europe, Japan etc. They could assist, clean, maintain, help with transportation, make meals, learn how to monitor basic vital signs and administer medication, listen to stories, learn the language of their host country and exchange stories. Housing in exchange for services and companionship. Without having the insurance or healthcare industries having a choke hold on determining who can work and be of assistance in your home and how much they need to be paid.

Recently, observing from back roads in Georgia, I noticed less and less tall pines along the road and well, what about the boars? Shall we begin to entirely ‘think differently and rethink together regarding what building materials, types of vehicles, types of energy that we have used traditionally no longer serve us. Dirty energies and processes that are destructive to habitats and polluting, can be replaced with viable ones that are sustainable and beneficial to the earth, not diminishing its resources. This can be manifested everywhere; not only implemented in the Northern Hemisphere.

Prohibit housing development sprawl from spreading like a virus, prohibit expansion of box store franchises, and create more and more green spaces.

Reformulate all vacant (or soon to be reappropriated) factories, mines, yeah, even off-shore oil wells, etc. to create housing, establish reefs.

Repurpose agricultural fields or crops grown to feed animals for the meat industry, into hemp, bamboo, plants which humans eat, plant trees. Undoubtedly, the more minds who are engaged in conjuring up clever ideas, to re-think designs, materials and energy to create sustainable solutions, the more rewarding and fascinating this process will be. Might as well attempt incentivizing people towards better health by encouraging vegetarian diets and informing people about the facts of how unsustainable and wasteful it is to devote land to raising animals; they require more land and water than what the land could be used for to feed humans. Eco education is a must. Green New Deal Projects involving growing food together and learning about nutrition and cooking would be invaluable for young people. Break up pavement and replace it with sustainable ones. Plant trees, EVERYWHERE. Nurture the wilderness. As George Monbiot states, we need to ‘rewild the world’.

There are so many ways the Green New Deal could be a fantastic luxury: putting talent and natural incentive to task. Employing simple fungi to clean up toxic spills, and generate biological life. If we would all be incentivized to clean up plastic all over the world, this could be repurposed with bamboo or hemp, to create building material. We could have a decade and a half of clearing out the trash that humanity has deposited all over the planet, and repurposing it to designs that replace using trees.

David Roberts explains The Green New Deal in this article.   The Sunrise Movement of youth demanding action is huge.

What if news channels, delivered by those who own them, were transformed into venues of participatory global commons, in which counties, municipalities, states and federal domains would maintain a global commons channel, for communities to exchange ideas about energy and transportation infrastructure.

Does this sound insanely idealistic? Radically off the cuff, stream-of-consciousness babble? Or am I making a point for ‘socialism’, community shared intention and commitment, to full-out re-appropriation and repurposing of space and industry. With training and education matched with interest and desire to task. Channels streamlined for the purpose of actively sharing ideas at digital round tables – rather than passively listening to news that is dictated by those who wish you to passively attend to that subject. What if everyone was engaged in thinking of ideas, finding teams to draw them up and design, then manifest them?

There would be plenty of ‘work’, to create effective animal bridges and tunnels, to nurture the habitats and migratory nature of animals. With an emphasis on community, not driven by profit or anthropomorphism, but with genuine appreciation and wonder of the natural world. Education can focus on ‘ecoliteracy’. Awareness of the interconnected nature of life and the need to protect habitats and maintain biodiversity, will translate into a population of caring and proactive youths.

These suggestions of projects poured out from my initial search for housing, and idea of an artist residency platform: ‘artist residency’ ‘in your home’, in which both the artist and proprietor are involved. If the artists doesn’t produce according to the agreed timeline, they lose the room. Win/Win. A humanitarian tax investment and involvement of the host in the artist’s intention, coupled with the motivation-propulsion by the artist to deliver, to maintain the residence.  I was thinking, this could be part of the Green New Deal.

How would you want to contribute? What would you like to involve yourself in? Where’s the money coming from? Well, all the billionaires, of course. Quite frankly, from the industries who have reaped massive profits through spoiling and destructive practices. Naturally, they need to be held accountable and pay for the clean up as well as contributing to the education and training needed to give people who worked in dirty industries, new education and tools towards stepping into clean and sustainable industries.

False Dichotomy | Separate from Environment | Zero Point Energy | John Searl | Brian O’Leary |Thrive

Each of the blogs I’m posting today concern the concept of a false dichotomy. In this case, that between we humans and what we label as the environment, as if you could separate a man from the water he drinks or the air he breaths. You can’t. A human can’t live more than a few days without water or more than a few minutes without air. So why has it been so easy to separate ourselves from the obvious destruction of the means by which we’ve been (in the northern hemisphere since the industrial revolution) extracting energy from fuel sources on our planet? Because we’ve erroneously believed that our sources were limitless, at first. And then the politics of economics compelled the force of nature to be a force to combat, rather than one to emulate, adore and protect. In the carolkeiter blog I talk of this separation from the standpoint of physical and emotional health, of which personal habits and particularly the food that one ingests, can lead to either health or illness. Incredulously, the American Medical Association and other government health offices as well as the majority of medical schools across the country, do not even offer classes in nutrition, nor do doctors talk about the subject to their patients, as Dr. Michael Gregor points out in his talk. Doctors are seduced by pharmaceutical companies to hand out prescription medicine, yet not to talk about diet, when the food that people consume is the leading cause of death due to ‘impoverished’ diets.

https://carolkeiter.wordpress.com/2018/04/26/false-dichotomy-separate-from-self-gabor-mate-michael-grefor-shift/

Humans become ensconced in the activities of their immediate environment, without being aware of larger trends. It can take a long time for the collective species to adequately understand a perspective that time and distance obscures from their immediate view.

I spoke of Storytelling and Stories-Not-Sold in The Politics of Economics in a former blog, revealing the facts that pivotal discoveries have been made by different individuals at different periods of time in the last century in the United States that were either forcefully suppressed or the inventor’s equipment confiscated, damaged or stolen.

Regarded by many as ‘The Godfather’ of free energy or zero point energy science, Professor John Searl believes his magnetic generator, the Searl Effect Generator (SEG), can save our planet from economic and environmental disaster. So, what if he’s telling the truth?

John Searl talks of his Magnetic Current Stirs “Electrons” – (SEG) Searl Effect Generator, which converts electrons into electricity.

Professor John Searl, The Godfather of free energy / zero point energy science, believes his magnetic generator, the Searl Effect Generator (SEG), can save our planet from economic and environmental disaster.

“Changing the art of combusting to get energy which is producing pollution, to one that is natural, the absorbing of natural energy, compressing it and then using it and letting it go; you burn nothing in the process…As electrons come out, electrons are being drawn in, so it can never get hot. The flow keeps getting stronger and speeds up. Conventional currents are slow currents that draw in heat; the more current, the more heat. This system is the opposite, the more current you draw, the colder it gets. Electrons enter and move faster and faster until they change their state and become a superconductor.”

Because my passion is the desire to alert people to the disposition of the plants and animals that inhabit this world whose environments and habitats are being systematically destroyed, this environmental crisis and ecocide that is occurring is mostly due to the heavy consumption that our current political or economic realities rely upon. Continued emphasis on the market place and the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) has actually become, as I wrote in this former blog, a Gross Domestic Problem (frankly it’s not domestic at all, but worldwide).

Generating wealth and the continued propagation of products to keep that motor greased, has lead to the degeneration of our environment with pollution and the continued extermination of species who are part of the creation. We have collectively walked away from our connection to the earth and all of its creatures in this treadmill of production and consumption, in which even our concept of happiness and entertainment has become something that is objectified into products, rather than processes.

This dominant matrix of drilling, plowing, extracting, draining and all of the destruction and pollution stemming from the combustion engine and our typical means of extracting energy, is killing everything, and us.

It is not serendipity but eloquent synchronicity of timing that I have come upon one after another mention of the connection of our actions that are devastating our environment, and the fact that there are many cures for diseases and innovations already in the research stages for energy that can be very simply extracted from the space around us, with no delatarious results, side effects or negative fall-out. They are there, but have not been invested in, because of a few individuals and corporations throttling and constricting the information from being freely released to the public. Again, it’s because they have trillions of dollars that they’ve invested.

We have been sort of walking along, following in footsteps of our families and socialized through our education to continue what we’ve learned are the ways to follow, to be an accepted ‘productive’ citizen. We haven’t really questioned this. Often the history and lessons learned get lost, especially in a world in which many people are on a treadmill of continued pursuit of financial demands and time constraints in making ends meet (which continue to grow no matter how financially secure one perceive’s oneself to be).

I bring in the concept of zero point energy, which I first learned about researching my book a few years ago. And now in the last days different sources entirely have brought me to the same focal points. One could say that my whole being has guided me perpetually to this same information, because of the choices I’ve made. I’ve read things in the last week that brought together the concepts of free energy – the energy in the ‘vacuum’ of space everywhere (which is not a vacuum at all), together with the mention of UFO’s and the electromagnetic fields that they operate through and consciousness…and the fact that much of this information is continually suppressed. What? Sounds incongruent, grouping these together.

Well, in fact, the degradation of our environment due to our typical means of extracting energy have been destructive. Yet as I’ve paraphrased this article The Quantum Vacuum: How ‘Empty’ Space is Actually the Seat of the most Violent of Physics’ “Quantum physicists discovered that physical atoms are made up of vortices of energy that are constantly spinning and vibrating, each one radiating its own unique energy signature. This is also known as “the Vacuum” or “The Zero-Point Field.”…This “stuff” within this space can be accessed and used, [which] was experimentally confirmed when The Casimir Effect illustrated zero point or vacuum state energy.[It] predicts that two metal plates close together attract each other due to an imbalance in the quantum fluctuations.

In fact, astronomer, former astronaut, and author of “The Second Coming of Science” and “Exploring Inner and Outer Space,” Brian O’Leary very eloquently talks of these. It is a long video, yet because he is very clever and succinct, not tedious whatsoever. He is very understandable. I happened upon this video today, pulling together and clarifying numerous articles and videos that I’ve watched.

Brian O’Leary Free Energy and New Paradigms In Science

“Gravity is an electromagnetic force, as is consciousness.”

We presently have an alternative to oil, fossil fuel and nuclear power.

O’Leary speaks of his research into the contemporary science of ‘free energy.

O’Leary speaks of his research into this new understanding. It’s all there, this contemporary scene of ‘free energy’. He points out that whereas many people speak of Nikola Teslas’s invention a century ago, he says there’s currently research going on all over the world, particularly in Japan. This technology is already quite realized. He quite gently says that it’s easy to get angry with the people who have wanted to keep the truth of reality in a box, because of their vested interests.

“We presently have an alternative to oil, fossil fuel and nuclear power. The three basic technologies of ‘free energy’ are cold fusion (technique of introducing Hydrogen into a metal lattice), magnetic motors (magnetic wheels with magnets that rotate and the rotary motion creates an interaction with this zero point energy field – the potential energy field that underlies free energy) and solid state (a crystal or specially conditioned magnet that resonates with the zero point field to extract > put energy into the system.” The role reversal in this country – rather than encourage innovation – inventors in the USA have had their work suppressed, alienated, expatriated, or had their well being threatened, devices confiscated. By the fact that there is no coverage whatsoever .0001% of the climate crisis reveals the corpocrisy maneuvering behind the curtain.”

O’Leary mentions in his talk that the theoretical physicist John Archibald Wheeler, claimed that “One coffee cup full of space contains enough potential energy to evaporate all of the earth’s oceans.”

We have an answer to our energy problem, we won’t in the future have to rely on any grid system. It naturally threatens the energy industries and utilities that stand to lose trillions in profit. Brian O’Leary states that it is necessary for us to get off of our drunken oil binge since the losses to the environment due to combustion engines has been enormous.

This will open doors to other forms of research: anti-gravity research and consciousness. Our ability to influence the material world – psychokinesis.

As O’Leary states, there are numerous contemporary inventions of one or another that tap into this free energy. Paramahamsa Tewari’s Space Energy or Free Energy Generator.

All of these I mention, because we are having an environmental crisis that is causing an enormous ecocide, precipitated by the continued quest for focused industrial extraction of energy and food sources that are out of proportion with a limited earth.

THIS CAN BE TURNED AROUND BY OUR OWN ACTIONS.

Thich Nhat Hanh Awaken from our Illusion of Separateness

Thich Nhat Hanh Awaken from our Illusion of Separateness

excerpted from Thich Nhat Hanh’s Love Letter to the Earth

At this very moment, the Earth is above you, below you, all around you, and even inside you. The Earth is everywhere. You may be used to thinking of the Earth as only the ground beneath your feet. But the water, the sea, the sky, and everything around us comes from the Earth. Everything outside us and everything inside us comes from the Earth. We often forget that the planet we are living on has given us all the elements that make up our bodies. The water in our flesh, our bones, and all the microscopic cells inside our bodies all come from the Earth and are part of the Earth. The Earth is not just the environment we live in. We are the Earth and we are always carrying her within us.

Realizing this, we can see that the Earth is truly alive. We are a living, breathing manifestation of this beautiful and generous planet. Knowing this, we can begin to transform our relationship to the Earth. We can begin to walk differently and to care for her differently. We will fall completely in love with the Earth.

When we are in love with someone or something, there is no separation between ourselves and the person or thing we love. We do whatever we can for them and this brings us great joy and nourishment. That is the relationship each of us can have with the Earth.”

Crisis Among the Palms talks about the Palm Oil ecocide, from the Congo basin to Malaysia to Peru. As a relatively new player on global commodity markets, the industry has quickly grown to rely on global financing to fuel its expansion. So it is once again a narrow minded, expansion for quick profit despite the long term and irreparable losses that are to blame. “Having expanded by millions of hectares a year across the tropics in the past several decades, the palm oil industry is a leading cause of rainforest destruction – and a source of both economic dispossession and wage labor for countless people.”

This I introduced in a former blog https://carolkeiter.wordpress.com/2013/11/22/the-truth-earthlings-love-letter-to-the-earth-thich-nhat-hanh-kumi-naidoo-greenpeace-saving-the-earth-from-ourselves-only-after-cree-indians/

We can turn all of this around by informing ourselves and taking actions to demand the implementation of what will bring about a peaceful and thriving revolution of how we operate in society and how we generate energy, transport ourselves, live and work.

The documentary movie Thrive was created by Foster Gamble, bank heir to the multinational and pharmaceutical company Procter & Gamble and his wife Kimberly. He basically stepped aside from the matrix within which he’s ensconced to produce this “unconventional documentary that lifts the veil on what’s REALLY going on in our world by following the money upstream — uncovering the global consolidation of power in nearly every aspect of our lives. Weaving together breakthroughs in science, consciousness and activism. Thrive offers real solutions, empowering us with unprecedented and bold strategies for reclaiming our lives and our future.”

He talks of his inspiration of Buckminster Fuller’s concept of the Vector Equilibrium and of the torus is the underlying structure of the universe. Foster Gamble researched the dynamics of the toroidal energy form and vector equilibrium as primary patterns fundamental to the creation of the universe at all scales. He talks about accessing zero point energy; new energy technology; seeing clean, free energy as a means to transfer the quality of life on this planet. It became clear as he began to follow the money to see why information wasn’t being released, and in the movie he describes the powers that have controlled information and the ways in which we can use this to free ourselves from the paradox of believing that we are separate.

“Who controls the food supply, controls the people;
Who controls the energy, can control whole continents;
Who controls the money, can control the world.”
~Henry Kissinger, 1973

Emergence | Inevitability of Seeking the Kind Way | Love & Appreciation of All Life

“President Trump ordered a review in April that could open federally protected lands to mining, logging and drilling.” I was alerted through this video showing the lovely national monuments that are at risk. It is atrocious.

This concise video reveals that Trump is not only the first president to not establish a national park, but the first to repeal the laws protecting them. Yes, it is true that there are generations of families who have made their living through the oil and gas industry, yet that doesn’t by any means imply that there would not be a tremendous source of jobs through Research & Development, Transference of skills and work places in the creation of renewable energy jobs across the country. As I mentioned in a former blog how FDR Franklin D. Roosevelt’s enforced the WPA – Works Progress Administration – from the top down; creating massive jobs to rebuild the infrastructure of the USA…this could now be implemented in creating wave, wind, solar, biomass and other technologies helping to restore land, animals habitats, beauty and resource value of nature, along with education and smart transportation technologies…all to make the life for all more free, more equitable and of much better quality.

In the meantime, I see this reading the news, and I responded as I posted it with the most whimsical wishing of a utopian culture, where the goal is to live fully, live peacefully together with others and to embrace nature. The idea that we could actually change the status quo of the workweek and our habits of being enslaved to a consumer-driven culture, to actually free up our bodies and minds to be more conscious beings and for each to thrive doing what they love, is the utopian world I’m dreaming of.
When I read this, https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-03-13/kushners-set-to-get-400-million-from-chinese-on-marquee-tower I just let my sarcasm and wishful thinking flow.

Let’s just focus on making business deals and keep that wealth floating in the clouds, just on the finger tips of the family, not doing anything to better the quality of life of the people, down here. let’s think of only profit, after all, one needs to have, rather than counting, let me reverse this; you can only sit on one toilet at a time, so how much wealth does one person need to amass? Quality of life is the what and where, but mostly how one is feeding one’s own experience. I just overheard someone today saying, “Don’t ask Why, just ask How” We each have our unique set of circumstances, yet how you’re feeling as your strolling a path has much to do with your own accountability to yourself to create the best situation from the circumstances you’re in, and then to others to serve to help them to reach their own affinity with their lives. What about using capital to make an enormous transfer of research & development, purchasing, education and industrial transfer / cross-training to generate a huge amount of jobs for people in every state. Transferring skills and creating clean renewable energy, investing in transportation infrastructure towards clean cars (as a bicyclist one really knows first-hand what is delivered into the air of streets through idling cars and unmaintained gas guzzling automobiles and trucks), creating community gardens contributing to local groceries everywhere, giving more people work opportunities in the creation and implementation of new sustainable technologies: i.e. put minor legal offenses of prisoners into training in renewable and sustainable development and put the prison systems into the growing and animal rehabilitation and habitat preservation business; growing (plants for humans, not resource gouging cows and industrial farming). Dropping the standard workweek to 30 or less hours (reconnecting people to themselves, to their families and nature). Free the cows and pigs and turn them into marijuana growing operations, win/win; the farmers suddenly have a much more lucrative income and this issues an evolving conscious twist and choice to live together harmoniously with other life forms on the planet, and turn the earth into more of a garden than an industrial zone. just sayn’.

I bring up this previously written blog talking about Franklin D. Roosevelt’s remedy to fix a broken economy, and wrote about this back prior to President Obama’s second administration. The idea that many, many things could be set into motion, by a government who cares about the people and wants to set things on to a good course.
